Signals tracked for Cipriani USA Inc.

The public records we read for Cipriani USA Inc., ordered by how close each sits to the moment a ceiling contractor prices the grid for a job. Every contractor on the Accounts tab came out of one of these classes, and the class is named there.

How we read a record for Cipriani USA Inc.

Two questions decide a record's value: how close is it to the moment a contractor sets its grid price for a job, and is the contractor big enough that a grid line can be worth five hundred thousand dollars a year. A plan-holder registration two weeks before bid beats an award; an award beats a job posting.

The project's specification is the gate. Division 09 51 00 says the suspension duty class, the manufacturers named, whether a substitution is allowed, and whether a second grid type sits on the same job. Where the manual is public we read it and show what it says; where it sits behind a plan-room login we say so instead of guessing.

Closest to the grid order

Two to six weeks before the bid, when the ceiling price is set

Records a construction manager publishes while a package is open. They name the subcontractors pricing it and the date the price is due.

A plan-holder list on a school package that carries the ceilings

Construction managers running school bond work publish who has pulled the documents for each bid category. A ceiling contractor registered on a Metal Studs, Drywall and Ceilings package is pricing the grid for that job before the bid date on the same page.

From this screenGibson-Lewis of Indianapolis, LLC: registered on four Indianapolis-area school packages between October 5 and October 19, 2026, bidding October 29 to November 18.

The Division 09 51 00 section of a public project manual

Districts, state agencies and bidding general contractors post whole manuals. The acoustical ceilings section gives the suspension duty class under ASTM C635, the manufacturers listed, the substitution path and any aluminum-capped or specialty grid on the same job. It is the same filter a rep runs by hand, read from the source.

From this screenLansing's new Sheridan Road school: intermediate duty, but aluminum-capped with Armstrong, Rockfon and USG named and no or-equal on the grid, so the job fails the gate even though Grand River Interiors & Plaster, LLC holds the package.

The contractor is proven, the job has passed

The next package, not this one

These show a contractor that prices school ceilings work at a size that fits, after the grid for the named job is set.

A bid tabulation or board award on a ceilings-bearing package

Bid tabs and board packets name every bidder and amount. The award fixes that job's grid, but the list of bidders is the list of firms that price school ceilings in the territory, with a dollar figure beside each.

From this screenKleckner Interior Systems, Inc.: bid $633,789 on Portage High School's metal studs, drywall and ceilings package on September 16, 2026; over 170 in the trade by its own site.

An estimating or materials seat opening at a large interiors contractor

A job posting for an estimator or a material planner shows the seat that prices or orders grid changing hands. It names no job, so it ranks below a plan pull, and it carries weight only at a firm whose size is on record.

From this screenCleveland Construction, Inc.: a Construction Estimator posting for its Mentor, Ohio office dated October 13, 2026, at a company of over 1,000 craft professionals whose own page names suspended acoustical ceilings.

Read, but not led with

Context for every row, never a reason to call

These shape the list without naming a buyer.

Size on the contractor's own record

Own-site headcounts, a revenue line in a trade ranking, or a union signatory listing. Read first against the size floor, because a shop that cannot carry a large grid line stays off the list however fresh its record.

From this screenWestern Partitions, Inc. (Columbus office): over 1,600 employees on its own site and second on the 2026 Walls & Ceilings Top 50, but its Columbus openings are prefabrication-plant seats, so it stays on the list on size alone.

A manufacturer pricing or allocation bulletin

Distributors repost manufacturer bulletins as PDFs. A dated price rise and a controlled-distribution notice apply to every contractor at once, so they set the season, not the account.

What each contractor arrives with

  • Contractor, location and the record that flagged it, linked to the public source with its date
  • Size on record, with the source, read against a five-hundred-thousand-dollar-a-year customer
  • For a project record, what the Division 09 specification says: duty class, manufacturers named, substitution path, any second grid type
  • The nearest ABC Supply Interiors branch that carries ceilings and acoustical products
  • What the record does not prove, so no call claims more than the record shows

Records were opened on the review date shown on each page; reopen before calling.

Signal classes describe categories of public record and the cadence we read them on. Per-account claims live on the Accounts tab with their sources.
